Michael Moore: Do you know that on the day of the Columbine massacre, the US dropped more bombs on Kosovo than any other day?
Marilyn Manson: I do know that, and I think that’s really ironic, that nobody said ‘well maybe the President had an influence on this violent behavior’ Because that’s not the way the media wants to take it and spin it, and turn it into fear, because then you’re watching television, you’re watching the news, you’re being pumped full of fear, there’s floods, there’s AIDS, there’s murder, cut to commercial, buy the Acura, buy the Colgate, if you have bad breath they’re not going to talk to you, if you have pimples, the girl’s not going to fuck you, and it’s just this campaign of fear, and consumption, and that’s what I think it’s all based on, the whole idea of ‘keep everyone afraid, and they’ll consume.’My favorite part was when Michael Moore asked him what he would say to the kids who shot up columbine, and he responded with “Nothing. I would just listen to them”. Powerful stuff.

“Motherhood By Choice, Not Chance”
Based on the trilogy, From the Back-Alleys to the Supreme Court & Beyond, this riveting film brings alive the history of the struggle for women’s reproductive rights in the U.S. and the chilling facts about the current threat to those rights. Intimate interviews reveal the passion of people who moved abortion from the danger of the back alleys to a safe, legal choice.

Discussion Topic of the Day: Jeff Bethke, who has made it his mission “to carry the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ to the inner city,” refers to himself on his Facebook page as “just a messed up dude trying to make Him famous.”
Whether you agree with him or not, there is no doubt his latest spoken-word video “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus” — which he describes as “a poem I wrote to highlight the difference between Jesus and false religion” — is provoking discussion across the web.
